Gene: a gene is like a USB. It carries genetic information from parents to offspring. That information helps determine some traits of the offspring. Like what you look like;
Allele: Alternative forms of a gene (dominant/recessive);
Dominant: Overpowers (dominates) a recessive allele.
Recessive: Effect is only expressed when two copies of recessive allele are present.

Genotype: genetic make up of an organism. Written in reference to a trait. A genotype can be Homozygous or Heterozygous.
Remember we need two allele's for a gene. We get one allele from Mum and one from Dad.
